Mount Zion
One day as I was going through a great trial, one of my dedicated staff handed me the verse below. It settled my spirit immediately. What a gem! Those who trust in the Lord are steady as
Whatever problems you have today, picture yourself sitting upon the high Holy Mountain of Jerusalem--a city built upon a rock. You will be steady--unmoved by any circumstance.
Are you under attack? If so, this gives you an opportunity to express your faith in God. Do these things:
First, find a scripture from God's Word that applies to your situation. Today's Key Verse (below) is terrific.
Second, say out loud "I am trusting in the Lord. I shall remain steady, unmoved by any circumstance."
Third, tell yourself God has never failed you before and He will not fail you now.
Fourth, enter into the Spirit. As Paul says in Galatians, "Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh" (Galatians 5:16). Fear is a force of the flesh. The way to break its hold is to enter into God's presence. When the Spirit of the Lord is moving on your body, fear will vanish like darkness flees the light.
Tuck away these truths in your heart. When you go through a trial, the Holy Spirit will bring them to your remembrance.
KEY VERSE: "Those who trust in the Lord are steady as Mount Zion, unmoved by any circumstance" (Psalm 125:1 TLB). Also read: Ps. 146:5; Prov. 16:20; James 5:11 | |
REMEMBER: TRUSTING IN THE LORD WILL KEEP YOU STEADY AS A ROCK. |
